About Amy
Since I was a young child, I always had an eagerness to have art as a part of my life. I treated it as a hobby, a way to escape into a world of colors and creativity. As a teenager, my first job was working at a bakery where I found a passion in cake decorating, creating wedding cakes—an art in itself. This is when my journey began. I knew I wanted to learn all aspects of art, so I could continue to create beautiful things and make people smile.
My life has taken me many beautiful places. I grew up and lived in Massachusetts, where I enjoyed taking trips down to the Cape and traveling up North through New Hampshire and Maine. Each trip, taking it all in, the beauty of what New England is known for, the vibrant colors of Fall, the vast green landscapes, the blankets of snow that glisten in the sun and the rich deep blue and green hues of the coastline. These beautiful moments inspire me to paint.
I am mostly self taught in watercolor. Taking the time each day to put a brush to paper requires a lot of self discipline. I feel each time this happens, something is learned. My artistic journey has taught me to find beauty in the small things, and to have passion, persistence and dedication. Most importantly, it has taught me to believe in myself. Accomplishing a piece of art that came from your heart and soul is what inspires me to continue learning and growing as an artist.

Once they are completed, they are put in a plastic art sleeve with my business card

These unique pieces can be a great gift for anyone. They are perfect for a small space, such as on a desk, end table, wall shelf, etc. The winter barn scene is on a 3×3 canvas. The sea scene is on a 2×3 canvas. Each piece is an original watercolor, with mixed media collage affects. They are preserved with a clear gloss coat that adds to the beauty of each piece! Each one comes out entirely different.
